OUR OBJECTIVES: 

1. Provide public amenities by:

• Establishing, administering, and maintaining a black box theatre in Cochrane, Alberta to be used by local and surrounding arts organizations and individuals in the community.

• Comitting to fundraising to off set operating costs of the theatre to keep access affordable.

• Meeting a known need for the art and theatre community of Cochrane and surrounding areas.

• Establishing a social infrastructure that encourages civil engagment and community building.

 

2. Advancing the public's appreciation of the arts by:

• Creating a dedicated space for arts creation, performace, and enjoyment.

• Providing high quality theatre techincal equipment and trained staff to enhance performance quality within the space.

• Providing a space to allow youth to engage in arts creation early on and learn the benefits to themselves and their community, while inspiring a life-long love and appreciation of the theatre arts.

• Providing affordable space for volunteer community theatre groups to engage the community in the production and enjoyment of theatre arts.

 

3. To advance education by:

• Providing an accessible and afforable space for local arts education organizations to fulfill their mandates and provide high quality theatre education to the people of Cochrane, Alberta and surrounding areas.
